Established in 2002, GHS is Egypt’s first private international hospitality school, offering a dual vocational education system according to German guidelines. The school consists of a building with 10 classrooms, a training kitchen, and a restaurant equipped with the highest international standards of education and training. It also includes a residential building for accommodating foreign students under high educational supervision.

Sawiris Foundation offers full scholarships to students from preparatory certificate holders who wish to join the school to obtain an accredited technical diploma in hospitality from Ministry of Education & Technical Education, a certificate of experience from the training hotel, a certificate of proficiency in the German language (for those excelling in German), as well as international accreditation from Leipzig Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) in Germany.
