Main Job Purpose:
The Social Media Officer is expected to contribute to the development of social media strategies, guidelines, procedures, and tools and provide expert advice to increase visibility, awareness, understanding, and support for the Sawiris Foundation for Social Development (SFSD) mandate, vision, objectives, activities, and programs.
The Social Media Officer is also responsible for managing all SFSD’s social media accounts and collaborates regularly with colleagues across the sectors, generating and publishing ongoing content, optimizing SFSD pages on various platforms, analyzing social media data (practices and trends), and fostering community interaction. This will include developing and implementing marketing campaigns, providing on-spot social media coverage for SFSD events, responding appropriately to posts / comments, and identifying issues that require escalation.
