Our Story: Egyptian Batik Art is a contemporary Egyptian brand dedicated to preserving and reimagining the ancient art of Batik. Founded from a passion developed during studies at the Faculty of Art Education, the brand draws inspiration from Egypt’s rich heritage, including Ancient Egyptian, Nubian, Coptic, Islamic, and Folk Art traditions. What began as an individual artistic journey evolved into workshop empowering women artisans through training and sustainable employment. Today, a team of over twenty women creates handcrafted clothing, home textiles, and decorative pieces using natural fabrics and eco-friendly dyes. Egyptian Batik Art has highlighted its collections internationally in Italy, Jordan, and India.


2-Jan Jah for Upholstery and carpets

Our Story: Established in Egypt in 2017, Jan Jah specializes in innovative handmade carpets and home accessories created from Egyptian synthetic yarns. Combining recycling concepts with traditional braiding techniques, the brand creates durable, washable, and versatile products with distinctive three-dimensional textures. Its unique manufacturing process enhances water absorption, heat insulation, and resistance to sunlight and odors. Produced by a team of more than 13 skilled artisans, each piece is carefully shaped and finished by hand, making Jan Jah’s products suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, including kitchens, bathrooms, dining areas, and decorative spaces.


3-Jumbo eg

Our Story: Jumbo Eg began its journey in 2009 with a simple yet ambitious vision: to transform Egyptian olive wood from a raw export material into beautifully handcrafted products that celebrate craftsmanship and heritage. What started with a small collection of kitchen utensils gradually evolved into a diverse range of serving boards, tables, mirrors, and decorative pieces. Known for its durability, natural beauty, and distinctive grain patterns, olive wood became the heart of every creation. Skilled artisans carefully handcraft each piece, making every item unique. Inspired by the olive tree’s rich cultural symbolism, Jumbo Eg creates sustainable products that blend tradition, functionality, and timeless elegance.


4-La Casa Textile

Our Story: Founded in 2010, La casa Textile was built on a legacy of experience and customer trust that dates back to 1945. For generations, quality, honesty, and customer satisfaction have been at the heart of everything we do. Combining decades of expertise with a modern vision, we carefully select home textiles that bring comfort, elegance, and lasting quality to every home. Today, we continue to grow while staying true to the values that earned our customers’ trust over the years.


5-Louisa Siwa Oasis

Our Story: Louisa Siwa Oasis celebrates the rich heritage of Siwa through handcrafted embroidery on sustainable Egyptian linen and cotton. Founded by former banker Geehan Khalifa, the brand blends traditional Siwan artisanship with contemporary fashion and home décor. By enabling women artisans to work from their homes, Louisa Siwa Oasis preserves cultural traditions while creating sustainable income opportunities. Supported by partnerships with leading institutions and development organizations, the brand has gained both local and international recognition, including winning First Prize at the 2026 Surajkund International Handicrafts Fair in India. A unique story of heritage, artisanship, and women’s empowerment.


6-Marah Handmade

Our Story: Since 2016, Marah Handmade has been a soulful bridge between Egypt’s timeless legacy and contemporary life. Nestled in the historic heart of Fustat since 2019, our atelier is more than a store it was a sanctuary of culture where history breathes. We transform ancient aesthetics into wearable art, ensuring that our rich heritage is not merely remembered, but lived. From the bustling streets of Cairo to international stages in Riyadh and Milan, we carry the pulse of Egyptian craftsmanship to the world, inviting everyone to wear a story, honor their roots, and embrace the vibrant beauty of our past.


7-Rania Helal Designs

Our Story: Rania Helal Designs is an Egyptian brand specializing in handcrafted jewelry and leather accessories that blend contemporary design with authentic Egyptian heritage. Inspired by the cultures of Siwa, Nubia, and St. Catherine, the brand transforms traditional symbols into distinctive modern creations. Its acclaimed collection, Wings of Isis, draws from Ancient Egyptian art and has received local and international recognition. Using brass, genuine leather, semi-precious stones, and gold-plated elements, each piece reflects exceptional artisanship and cultural storytelling. Rania Hilal’s collections have been showcased internationally, including in France, Italy, Cyprus, Algeria, India, and Expo 2020 Dubai.


8-Kadam El Saad

Our Story: Since 1996, Mohamed Salem began his journey with “Kadam El Saad,” inspired by a family deeply passionate about pottery and handmade crafts. This passion evolved into a brand that offers handmade pottery pieces combining artistry, quality, and health safety. Using the purest types of clay and the highest manufacturing standards, each piece is carefully designed for dining, drinking, and décor purposes, carrying a warm spirit that adds an artistic touch to everyday life. “Kadam El Saad” is not just pottery; it is the story of an authentic craft passed down through generations and continuously evolving with time.


9-Bassam Soliman

Our Story: Bassam Soliman is a designer and creator of decorative and wooden lighting projects. Passionate about transforming ideas into artistic works, he specializes in designing unique wooden pieces that combine creativity, precision, and functionality. With extensive hands-on experience, he focuses on recycling and repurposing wood to create innovative designs that add aesthetic and practical value to different spaces. His work reflects high artisanship, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering customized design solutions that meet each project’s needs.


10-Farida handmade

Our Story: What started as a simple idea—to create a breadbasket using natural Egyptian materials—grew into a source of livelihood for many families. Beginning with only a needle and thread, Farida handcrafted her first basket, which was admired by family and neighbors. Encouraged by their support, she took a small loan to purchase a sewing machine and expand production. Over time, more women, including widows and divorced women, joined the workshop. Today, the project supports 18 families, creating handmade products with care, preserving traditional artisanship, and empowering women through sustainable income opportunities.


11-Bashayer – Helwan Association for community Development

Our Story: Bashayer is an Egyptian handmade crafts brand established under the patronage of Helwan Community Development Association. Founded by a group of skilled women artisans, the brand specializes in crochet and macramé products that blend traditional Egyptian artisanship with contemporary design. Through specialized training, organized production, and marketing support, Bashayer has become a model for women’s economic empowerment, providing sustainable income opportunities for more than 150 women in Helwan. Each handmade piece reflects creativity, quality, and cultural authenticity while helping preserve Egypt’s rich handicraft heritage and passing traditional skills on to future generations.


12- تللي شاندا

Our Story: From Shandweel to the World. Born in Shandweel Island, Upper Egypt, Shimaa El Nagar began mastering Talli and rural embroidery at the age of 12 and launched her own business at 20. By introducing traditional embroidery to new fabrics such as cotton, silk, linen, and chiffon, she transformed heritage crafts into contemporary fashion and home décor products. Her work has represented Egypt at international exhibitions and heritage festivals across Europe, the Gulf, India, and Central Asia. Recognized by WIPO and honored by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, she now empowers women in her community through sustainable employment while preserving Egypt’s rich handicraft heritage.


13-Art Home Luxor

Our Story: The studio is a creative space rooted in a deep commitment to Egyptian heritage as an authentic source of inspiration. It seeks to reinterpret and transform this heritage into contemporary artworks that harmoniously blend authenticity with innovation. The studio serves as an interactive environment where artists and artisans come together to exchange knowledge, explore new perspectives, and express Egyptian cultural identity through a modern visual language. By reimagining the aesthetic values and elements of heritage, the studio creates artworks with cultural and humanistic significance that resonate with the spirit of the contemporary era. Art Home Luxor was founded by Dr. Mahmoud Boghdady.


14-Baddara

Our Story: Baddara is a brand that supports women in rural areas who are in need of a job. The project allows them to work from home and provide them with an income. Most of those women are with little to no education, or are housewives with kids. “Hard work trumps talent”, is the ethos of Baddara.


15-Tawasol

Our Story: In the heart of one of Cairo’s most underserved communities stands Tawasol School in Ezzbet Khairallah—a place where hope, dignity, and opportunity are rebuilt every day. Through education, vocational training, and creative expression, children, youth, and women are empowered to build brighter futures for themselves and their families. Every handcrafted product you see is proudly handmade at Tawasol by women from this community, reflecting their talent, resilience, and determination. By choosing this product, you are directly supporting sustainable change. 100% of the proceeds are reinvested into programs that serve the Ezzbet Khairallah community.


16-Elegant Linen

Our Story: Born in 2020 from a pure love for natural cotton and linen, we’ve grown from a solo passion project into a dedicated team of five women. We believe in beauty without perfection. When we first launched, we noticed people hesitated around linen because it wrinkles. Our response? We started embracing the creases, sharing our pieces raw and unironed. Today, our community celebrates linen exactly as it is—effortless, breathable, and beautifully real.


17-Creative Glass Blowing by Kamal Hodhod

Our Story: For generations, our family has preserved the art of handmade glassmaking, passing this unique skill from father to son. Rooted in ancient Egyptian heritage, this craft reflects techniques that date back to the time of the Pharaohs. Each piece is carefully handcrafted using environmentally friendly materials, creating products that are both beautiful and sustainable. Today, only a few artisans continue this rare tradition, and we are proud to be among those keeping it alive. Our dream is to establish a glassmaking-training center in Egypt, ensuring that future generations can learn, preserve, and celebrate this valuable part of Egypt’s cultural heritage.

Our Story: Dalia and Marwa are two sisters who turned their passion for crochet into a growing handmade brand. Together, they lead a team of 40 Egyptian women, creating unique pieces using high-quality Egyptian materials. Every design was made without patterns, giving each piece its own character, soul, and one-of-a-kind story.


19-Shaden Gallery

Our Story: I am Shaden Mahmoud, originally from Alexandria, where my passion for Egypt’s rich heritage began. Inspired by traditional crafts and authentic Egyptian identity, I dreamed of creating a space that celebrates artisans from across the country. To turn this vision into reality, I moved to Cairo and founded Shaden Gallery for Heritage Handicrafts in Nasr City. The gallery serves as a bridge between skilled artisans and customers who value handmade products. Through year-round promotion and sales, we help create sustainable income opportunities for families across Egypt while preserving traditional crafts and ensuring their legacy continues for future generations.


20-Community Development Association for Small Enterprises and Handicrafts in Suhag (CDASEH)

Our Story: In the heart of Akhmim, one of Egypt’s oldest cities, the art of handwoven textiles continues to tell a story that began thousands of years ago. Passed down through generations, this Paranoiac craft has survived changing times, modern technology, and mass production. Every piece is created through patience, skill, and teamwork, as artisans carefully weave colorful threads into unique designs. For the people of Akhmim, weaving is more than a profession—it is a heritage and a way of life. Today, dedicated artisans continue to preserve this remarkable tradition, ensuring that Egypt’s rich textile legacy lives on for future generations.


21-KASHMIR

Our Story: My journey began with a passion for handmade embroidery and a vision to empower women through traditional artisanship. As a certified embroidery trainer registered with Egypt’s Ministry of Social Solidarity since 2009, I have trained more than 200 women across Egypt. My work has included training beneficiaries of Takaful and Karama in El Badrashin, burn survivors through Ahl Masr Foundation, women in Assiut with the International Labor Organization and Ministry of Youth and Sports, and women in Nubia through the National Council for Women. Today, I create contemporary home accessories and bags while preserving the beauty of Egyptian handmade embroidery.

Our Story: Since 1984, our journey has been dedicated to empowering marginalized communities and protecting the environment. Working alongside waste collector communities in Cairo, we transformed challenges into opportunities through education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, and sustainable recycling initiatives. From establishing Egypt’s first organic composting and recycling projects to creating vocational training, childcare, and literacy programs, our mission has always been to improve lives while preserving the environment. Over four decades, we have expanded our impact across multiple communities, creating jobs, empowering women and youth, and promoting sustainable development. Today, we continue building a future where people and the environment thrive together.


23-Elkashef Handmade

Our Story: An 18-Year Journey of Pure Nature and Egyptian Artistry. Al-Kashef Handmade is a premier Egyptian brand dedicated to the timeless beauty of authentic artisanship. We specialize in creating exquisite, handcrafted jewelry and accessories made exclusively from 100% natural gemstones, with no synthetic materials. Beyond creating art, our brand is built on a mission of empowerment. Today, our family includes over 48 talented women artisans who pour their passion and dedication into every unique piece. Our deep roots in Egyptian heritage have earned us prestigious locations inside The Egyptian Museum and Cairo International Airport, making us a gateway of Egyptian art to the world. We proudly export our creations globally and are honored to count many prominent celebrities and artists among our loyal clientele. At El Kashef, we don’t just make accessories; we craft living pieces of nature, shaped by Egyptian hands.


24-Modern Pottery

Our Story: Pottery is more than a craft for our family—it is a legacy passed down through generations. My husband inherited this passion from his father, who learned it from his ancestors. Today, our eldest son proudly continues his great-grandfather’s journey, preserving the skills and traditions of the past, while his brother works alongside him. Our daughter, inspired by the family heritage, studied Ceramics at the Faculty of Applied Arts, bringing academic knowledge and fresh creativity to the craft. Together, we founded Modern Pottery, blending the wisdom of our ancestors with the innovation, energy, and vision of a new generation.


25-Sinai Women Development Association (SWDA) – Bir Al-Abd, North Sinai

Our Story: The Sinai dress is far more than traditional clothing—it is a living expression of identity, heritage, and artisanship. For generations, Bedouin women in the Sinai Peninsula have preserved this remarkable art through intricate hand embroidery, transforming each garment into a unique story. Crafted on long, flowing dresses, the vibrant embroidery features geometric patterns and symbols that reflect protection, family, social status, and tribal belonging. Rich shades of red, orange, and yellow bring every piece to life. A single dress can take months to complete, showcasing the patience, skill, and creativity of the women who make it. Today, the Sinai dress remains a powerful symbol of Egypt’s cultural heritage, preserving traditions passed down from mother to daughter across generations.

 


26-Egyptian Handmade Kilim

Our Story: Founded online in Cairo in 2014 by husband-and-wife duo Essam Yassin and Walaa Abdel Aziz, Egyptian Handmade Kilim began with a simple mission: to preserve and market traditional Folk kilim craftsmanship. In 2015, we breathed new life into the craft, launching a contemporary line with modern designs, fresh color palettes, and premium materials. Today, our community has grown to support over 134 master artisans, both men and women. Balancing tradition with innovation, we have created over 2,000 original designs alongside our classic heritage pieces, while offering bespoke, custom-made kilims tailored perfectly to your space.


27-Painting with the Colors of Nature

Our Story: Our journey began in the early 1990s with a passion for transforming nature into art. Using natural sandstone collected from the mountains of Egypt’s oases, each stone was carefully cleaned, ground into fine powder, and applied by hand onto natural wood surfaces. Layer by layer, the artwork was built using only natural sand and white glue, creating depth and texture without any artificial colors or dyes. Every piece captures the beauty of Egypt’s heritage, ancient civilizations, and oasis life. Today, our artworks can be found around the world, and we continue training new generations to preserve this unique Egyptian craft from disappearing.

Our Story: Fatemina is a women-owned luxury brand founded by Spanish-Egyptian designer Faten El-Gredly, blending European artistry with Egyptian artisanship. Each piece—spanning jewelry, fashion, and home décor—is meticulously handmade in Cairo from Egyptian cotton and precious gemstones, carrying a signature of timeless elegance with a modern edge. Beyond design, Fatemina champions empowerment by employing underprivileged women artisans, offering them sustainable livelihoods and a voice through their craft. Rooted in heritage yet globally inspired, Fatemina is redefining what it means to create beauty with purpose.


29-Ghazy M&H

Our Story: Ghazy M&H began with a simple dream shared by my husband and me. What started as a small family business built on passion and determination has grown into a community that supports more than 45 families. Along the way, we created opportunities through handmade production while staying committed to quality and craftsmanship. Using 100% Egyptian cotton, we produce premium home textiles, including bed covers, towels, blankets, bathrobes, and home essentials. Every piece is designed with comfort, elegance, and durability in mind. More than textiles, our products represent a journey of hard work, empowerment, and shared success.


30-Art Bottle

Our Story: The concept of Art Bottle was born in 2016, sparking years of meticulous experimentation, trial, and relentless perseverance. Through passion and grit, we transformed a traditional Egyptian handmade craft into a sustainable art form capable of competing on the global stage. Driven by an eco-friendly mission, we breathe new life into recycled materials to create museum-grade ship models. Our pieces are deeply inspired by ancient Egyptian heritage—from the legendary Solar Boats and Pharaonic vessels to timeless traditional Nile feluccas, all intricately built inside glass bottles. A single masterpiece can require up to 120 hours of delicate craftsmanship, spanning weeks or even months. Proudly exhibited in South Korea, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia, Art Bottle brings a rare, unique piece of Egyptian soul to the world.

Our Story: Founded in 2016, Kilim was born from a passion for preserving Egypt’s rich weaving traditions while reimagining them for contemporary homes. Working hand in hand with skilled artisans across Egypt, we transform traditional artisanship into modern, globally inspired designs. From handwoven kilim rugs and decorative textiles to handcrafted ceramics and home accessories, every piece reflects authenticity, quality, and cultural heritage. Sustainability and ethical production are at the heart of everything we create. Today, with locations across Egypt and a growing international presence, Kilim continues to connect the world with the beauty, creativity, and timeless spirit of Egyptian artisanship.


32-Aisha Eid

Our Story: Aisha Eid is a 27-year-old artisan from the Ababda tribe in Southern Egypt. Raised in a supportive family, she developed a passion for traditional craftsmanship at a young age, learning skills passed down from her mother and the women of her community. Despite growing up in a remote area near Wadi El Gemal Reserve on the Red Sea coast, Aisha pursued her dream with determination. Through her brand, Mashghoulat Al Ababda, she creates handmade leather accessories using natural goat leather, blending authentic tribal heritage with contemporary designs. Today, she participates in exhibitions across Egypt and shares her products with customers worldwide through social media, becoming an inspiring ambassador for her community and culture.


33-Tunis Village

Our Story: A Living Heritage of Egyptian Craftsmanship Located in Tunis Village Fayoum Governorate, this renowned pottery hub is one of Egypt’s most important centers for traditional ceramics and pottery production. Home to more than 60 workshops and over 300 skilled artisans and workers, the village has become a symbol of artistic excellence and cultural preservation. For generations, pottery has provided a sustainable source of income for local families while safeguarding a valuable part of Egypt’s heritage. The village also attracts visitors from across Egypt and abroad, offering a unique opportunity to experience the craft firsthand and purchase distinctive handmade pieces, making Tunis Village a successful model of heritage-based economic development.


34-MALAMEH Art

Our story: What began as a simple hobby driven by a passion for handmade products gradually evolved into a journey of craftsmanship, creativity, and purpose. Inspired by Egypt’s rich heritage, I dedicated myself to creating high-quality handmade leather products that reflect authentic Egyptian identity and culture.

Throughout this journey, the work has continuously evolved, opening doors for many families to build sustainable livelihoods. One of my proudest achievements was training women in leather craftsmanship through the Bashayer El Kheir grant under the umbrella of the Sawiris Foundation for Social Development in Alexandria.

Today, the journey continues with the same passion and ambition: to preserve traditional craftsmanship while creating beautifully handcrafted products that carry the spirit and heritage of Egypt to the world.
