The project aims to improve women’s work opportunities and conditions in the targeted villages of the Hayah Kareema initiative in Tama in Sohag, through:

• Increasing community participation by providing 1,120 volunteer/employment opportunities for girls and women.
• Building the capacity of 20 leaders of partner grassroots organizations.
• Empowering 60% of the women participating in literacy and awareness programs, where 3,000 women have been enrolled so far in literacy classes.
• Launching awareness campaigns on common issues affecting the family.
• Improving the income of women targeted by the project.
