Main Job Purpose:

Plan and implement a comprehensive partnership strategy by identifying and securing strategic relationships with current and potential partners, both nationally and internationally. The role also involves developing impactful partnership proposals and concept notes to explore collaboration opportunities that align with SFSD’s vision and strategic objectives. By leveraging innovative approaches, the Senior Partnerships Officer will maximize impact, foster long-term collaborations, and contribute to the foundation’s growth and sustainability.

Overall Accountabilities:

Provide assistance in developing a strategy to expand partnerships with national & international foundations, private sector, and government bodies.

Accountabilities:

  • Assist the Partnerships Director in developing and implementing SFSD partnerships/fundraising strategy.
  • Develop high-quality partnership proposals, concept notes, and presentations tailored to potential partners’ interests and funding priorities.
  • Ensure proposals align with SFSD’s strategic objectives and reflect the foundation’s mission and values.
  • Research and analyze funding opportunities from diverse sources, including corporations, foundations, and international organizations.
  • Track and report proposal outcomes, providing insights to improve future submissions and partnership strategies.
  • Manage the proposal submission process, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with donor requirements.
  • Conduct research to identify donors and potential partners or co-financing opportunities that align with SFSD’s mission and program areas
  • Contact and gather information about the partner and present / discuss the proposed partner’s potentiality with the Director / Manager.
  • Act as a focal key point between partners and the assigned technical sector for SFSD programs/projects to maintain relation and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Monitor the implementation for projects and programs with the assigned partners to ensure harmony and consistency of results as per the partnership agreement and in alignment with SFSD objectives and regulations.
  • Responsible to maintain and develop the partners’ database including contact information, areas of focus etc…
  • Ensure institutions and their relevant contacts have appropriate knowledge and context of our platform, policies, and programs.
  • Develop partnership concepts and proposals in collaboration with the appropriate external partners..
  • Drafting final agreement/contract/MoU with partner.
  • Receive and review all projects reports assigned to deferent departments (as per project timeline), before delivering them to Director / Manager.
  • Conducting field visits to review project progress and follow-up.
  • Develop and manage a database of partners including contact information, areas of focus etc…
  • Oversee and approve the drafting final agreement/contract with partner
  • Periodic updates of the sector portfolio on SFSD website.
  • Assist in organize fundraising events covering all logistics.
  • Receive and answer mail, e-mail and telephonic inquiries for information regarding SFSD partnerships.
  • To undertake other duties required by Manager/ Director.

Monitoring and Evaluation:

In a close collaboration with the Learning and strategy (L&S) Sector team has to ensure that all documentation of project processes are in place by:

  • Support in using all M&E tools provided for collecting all project/program related data and information, in timely manner.
  • Collaborate in developing monitoring and evaluation tools of his/her assigned projects.
  • Coordinate the implementation of the corrective actions based on the monitoring reports, evaluations reports and impact evaluation reports.
  • Carry field visits to ensure the success of the projects.

Internal Communications:

  • Collaborate with L&S sector in evaluating the idea (cost efficiency and evidence based), monitoring and evaluating the partner NGOs performance.
  • Monitor the projects budget with the financial audit sector through regular assessment to the project to ensure proper budget allocation and apply any corrective actions if needed.
  • Support and monitor the database of the partner NGOs and related projects data in collaboration with the MIS in order to have complete profile for partners and facilities accessibility to project information at any time.
  • Provide input for social media and website content material to the PR that reflect the sector progress, success stories and achievements.

Networking & External Communication:

  • Maximize communication channels to strengthen dialogue, access, and partnership toward shared success.
  • Establish sustainable and effective relationships with partners, NGO’s, government and public bodies, private sector entities, and other stakeholders that are of relevance to their scope of work.
  • Develop and maintain regular contacts with targeted communities and beneficiaries as required.
  • Represent the sector in formal conferences and meetings with partners, in coordination with manager and create regular positive networks and communication with governmental and non-governmental counterparts.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor degree in public administration or any related education field.
  • (Social Sciences, International Development Studies, International management, Marketing & Communications).
  • Preferably.MA in Public policy, Public administration, social science, development economics, or any other related field.

Required Experience:

  • 4-6  years of experience.
  • Proven experience in developing partnership proposals, concept notes, and strategic documents.
  • Sound knowledge of institutional and government donors and funding policies.
  • Intermediate experience in developing and implementing successful entrepreneurial approaches to business development with the NGO’s and Donors.
  • Intermediate experience with working in Public Private Partnership environment.

Required Computer Skills:

  • Advanced computer literacy with excellent command of MS office.
  • Knowledge of data collection tools.

Required Languages:

  • Arabic and English proficiency.
