Main Job Purpose:

The HR Principal Officer will be responsible for implementing HR policies in alignment with the foundation’s strategic plan and Egyptian labor law. The role encompasses managing training and development initiatives, employee engagement, recruitment processes, benefits administration, and compliance with HR policies and procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Training & Development

  • Designs and analyzes the annual training needs and plans in collaboration with the HR Director.
  • Conducts an analysis on training needs to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
  • Oversees the implementation of employee development plans in accordance with the foundation’s training policy.
  • Designs and implements effective training programs by collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders.
  • Conducts evaluations of training effectiveness, collecting feedback to assess impact.
  • Develops and maintains training materials, ensuring relevance and engagement.
  • Develops an annual training calendar and ad-hoc training needs.
  • Manages the execution of the SFSD engagement surveys to identify gaps and enhance work culture.
  • Plans and executes internal initiatives to foster employee engagement and inclusion.
  • Handles internal communication channels such as newsletters and announcements.

 

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Participates in the full recruitment cycle, including job posting, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
  • Ensures compliance with SFSD recruitment policies and best practices.
  • Collaborates with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and ensure timely hiring.
  • Conducts new employee orientation to foster a positive attitude toward the foundation’s goals.
  • Assists in designing and supervising the implementation of SFSD’s internship program.
  • Handles and conducts exit interviews, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.

 

Policies & Procedures

  • Manages and implements HR policies as defined by management, ensuring alignment with the foundation’s strategic plan and Egyptian labor law.
  • Assists the HR Director in developing and ensuring awareness of new policies, approaches, and procedures.
  • Maintains confidential personnel records and ensures proper archiving processes.
  • .Liaises between SFSD and related governmental organizations, such as the Ministry of Manpower, Social Insurance Office, and other entities.

 

Performance Management

  • Assists in the preparation and collection of performance evaluations, including appraisals and 360-degree evaluations.
  • Ensures the performance management cycle aligns with SFSD objectives and values.

 

Compensation & Benefits

  • Conducts periodic market analysis to identify competitive benefit schemes.
  • Searches for staff benefit schemes and presents proposals for enhancements.
  • Administers current approved schemes such as medical insurance, social activities, etc.
  • Handles employee inquiries related to benefits and ensures timely resolution.
  • Manages the relationship with benefit providers and negotiates contract renewals.
  • Ensures timely enrollment and termination of employees in benefit programs.

 

Additional Duties

  • Performs any other duties as required by the HR and Admin Director.

 

Monitoring and Evaluation

  • Submit quarterly and year-end progress report to the HR director that represent the achievement of HR activities and alignment with the sector’s strategic objectives.
  • Manage the monthly report for SFSD employee’s attendance records and annual leaves balances.
  • Assist the HR & Admin director in the HR & Admin. Team evaluation.

 

Collaborate with other Sectors

  • Work closely and collaboratively with internal colleagues and partners to implement HR programs according to the outcome needed.

 

Networking and Communication

  • Initiate, manage and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.

     

Position Relationship with other Parties:

  • Internal Relationships: All sectors.
  • External Relationships: Consultancy companies, Training agencies, and Insurance Companies.

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid Environment

  • Out of Office: 40%
  • Working Days: 5
  • Days off: Friday & Saturday
  • Working Hours: 9 am to 5 pm
  • Work Hazard: Normal

Position Dimensions:

  • Level of Authority: Minor, based on a list of choices, these decisions are based on standa
    rules and procedures.
  • Financial Control: Petty cash / purchase requisition within limited budget.
  • Hiring Authority & Promotion: Coach New Employees – Direct and Indirect Supervision – Not Involved in the Employees Performance Appraisal – Conduct Technical Interview only.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • HR diploma is a must / HR Master degree is preferred.

Required Experience:

6-8 years of experience.

In-depth knowledge of:

  • Recruitment and hiring practices.
  • Learning & development practices.
  • Egyptian labor law & social insurance laws.
  • Budget composition and analysis.

Required Computer Skills:

  • Advanced computer literacy with excellent command of MS office.
  • Knowledge of data collection tools.

  • Arabic and English proficiency.
