Its purpose is to inspire artistic creativity, highlight promising talents, and honor esteemed literary figures in various genres such as novels, short stories, cinematic scripts, theatrical scripts, literary criticism, literary narratives, and children’s literature. Since its inception, and over the course of 19 years, the Sawiris Cultural Award has played a pivotal role in enriching Egypt’s cultural landscape by acknowledging numerous exceptional achievements.
