• Tuition fees.
• Stipends, books, educational materials and a laptop.
•  Accommodation for students studying outside of their governorates.
•  Necessary accessible equipment.
• English skills development programs.

• To be an Egyptian national residing in Egypt (preference will not be given to dual nationality holders).
• To be a graduate of Egyptian Thanwya Amma public schools in 2025/2026 with a score of no less than 90%.
• Proof of applying for the Academic Program and meeting all the program prerequisites. Students applying for programs in English language will need to demonstrate minimum proficiency level required by the University.
• Applicants must not have lived abroad for more than three years.
•  Applicant must be committed to work in Egypt for 3 years after graduation and completing military service, when applicable.
• Priority will be given to students with demonstrated financial need, academic excellence, engagement in extracurricular activities, and Takaful and Karama Program beneficiaries.
• Students from Governorates of Fayoum, Minia, Assiut, Sohag and Qena.
• 2024/2025 public high school graduates who previously received international scholarships that were discontinued. If you have completed the Foundation Year and have not yet enrolled in a university and you are no longer part of any scholarship program after the funding ended.you can apply through the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2D7ZXJH

Interested Students to apply for the scholarship should follow the following steps:

• Apply for the academic program of the Partner University.
•  Student must meet the minimum admission requirements at the partner university of their interest.
• Provide Proof of English Language Proficiency when applying for English based Academic programs.
• Prepare all the required documents for the application.
• Complete the online application for the Sawiris Distinction Scholarship using the following LINK.
• Provide Student Placement Number in the application. Sawiris Foundation will check scores of shortlisted applicants, using placement numbers.

Selection as a nominee for the Sawiris Distinction Scholarship does not guarantee university acceptance. Applicants must apply to their desired universities from the list of selected universities and programs
