The project focuses on providing fair educational opportunities to the most vulnerable and socially excluded children at the pre-primary stage, especially those with disabilities to build their capacity through:
- Developing and designing a comprehensive model for pre-primary education.
- Providing accessible quality and inclusive pre-primary education for 120 students with disabilities aged four to five years old.
- Building the capacity of 100 employees at the Ministry of Education and Technical Education to meet the individual learning needs of children with disabilities.
- Providing pre-primary teaching and learning resources for 20 resource rooms in Assiut.
- Raising awareness of parents and caregivers on appropriate child feeding practices and use of water, sanitation, and hygiene facilities in selected schools.
- Developing a model to monitor and promote growth in targeted schools.
- Providing safe water and sanitation facilities for boys and girls, including children with disabilities, in targeted preschool facilities.
