The project aims to better integrate youth and women in the economic life and in the private sector by granting them life skills and work ethics training adapted to the needs of the market, and then matching them to job vacancies in a network of Dutch and Egyptian partner companies.
A number of 400 youth (at least 300 young women) have been agreed upon by the partners to be the target the project needs to achieve. By the end of the 2-year program, at least 80% of the youth must be employed in the Dutch and Egyptian private sector.
A specialized training curriculum is designed to train the beneficiaries, including the following:
After passing the training, the trainee receives a certificate from SFSD, the Embassy of Netherlands, and the Maadi Youth Training Center. These young people are then employed in Egyptian and Dutch private sector companies through protocols with these companies.
