The project aims to create job opportunities for 800 people with special needs by building their capacity through administrative and vocational training that ends with providing them with a good loan (interest free) and establishing a permanent center for training and financing people with special needs in Fayoum Governorate.
The second phase of this project was launched in 2018 with the purpose of facilitating the integration of persons with disabilities into society, enabling them to develop their abilities and skills, and expand their opportunities in a descent and productive life. The project is being implemented by the Egyptian Youth Association for Social Development in Fayoum governorate, in order to create 800 job opportunities for young men &women with disabilities, support their small enterprises and build their capacities through administrative and vocational training on ready-made garments, wooden crafts, carpets, furniture, and foodstuffs. The support included post training interest-free loans, to start new projects or expanding their existing projects. The second phase of the project aims to establish a permanent center for the training and funding of disabled people in Fayoum governorate.
