On Sunday morning, May 10, 2020, relief convoys within the framework of the "Start with yourself" initiative implemented by the Egyptian Family Development Foundation within the framework of the Sawiris initiative to support the fight against the Coronavirus, in cooperation with Orascom Construction, under the auspices of the Armed Forces Southern Military District Command. Support has been provided to about 7,000 families affected by the current crisis in the form of dry food boxes, and disinfection and sterilization operations have been carried out in overcrowded areas to prevent the spread of infection.
This support comes as part of the Foundation’s strategy, and based on its belief in the necessity of joining efforts to support the state’s plan to combat and contain the Coronavirus crisis.
