Shelter Center for Street Girls – Banati

The project aims to provide accommodation and for 150 street girls (aging from 1- 16 years) and their offspring inside the shelter center, where they will receive rehabilitation and reintegration services.

Banat El Ghad Foundation, also known as "Banati", was created in 2009 to serve children living on the streets, primarily girls from one to 15 years old. Banati provides children in street situations better life conditions, through the development of their psychological and physical being, to inspire them to build better futures.
Banati works to identify children living on the streets and offer them comprehensive care available at the Shelter Center. The Shelter Center has a total capacity of 150-200 children.
The SFSD-funded project aims to provide accommodation to 150 girls at the shelter, where they are provided with medical and psychological care, adequate living accommodations, basic education and proper hygiene.
